Organizing MySpecs w/ Project Folders
- Each specification in the MySpecs section has three icons to the left of the 'Spec Title': View (magnifying glass), Delete (red 'X'), and File Under (a folder). View and Delete functions have been explained on the Basic Functions page.
- The File Under (folder) icon is a dropdown box enabling the user to organize the specifications into member defined groups. These groups are called Project Folders and can be created by clicking on the 'Add a New Project' link illustrated below.
- Upon clicking this link a Project Name field will appear fo you to title the folder. After typing in the name of your new folder click 'Add'. Once the page refreshes scroll down to see your new project listed. Clicking on the expand button will show you that there are no specs in your project.
- To place a document into the project folder use the File Under (folder) icon next to the name of the document/specification you want to move. A dropdown box will appear under the title of the document/specification. Click the drodown arrow to choose the name of the project folder you just created. The page will refresh and the doc/spec is now in the project folder you just created.
Repeat this process for all docs/specs you want to place in that project folder. If you need another folder, simply click on 'Add a New Project'.
